DCCL's mission is the protection and propagation of fish and wildlife, both game and non-game species, and the promotion of public education and plans to restore and conserve Dane County's natural resources, and to increase opportunities for outdoor recreation.

Membership Meetings

 Membership meetings are September - February on the fourth Tuesday at 7:00 pm featuring guest speakers on farm issues and conservation efforts.

Upcoming Events:

The Pheasant Farm opens up for work activities on April 22nd at 8:00 AM.  We will be preparing to receive 1000 pheasant chicks!  If you put in 12 volunteer work hours you are eligible to receive a certain number (determined later based on survival) of pheasants in the fall.  

1,000 pheasant chicks have been ordered and will be delivered on or about May 20, 2024.

Board Meetings**

Board meetings are on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm.**
