Give the gift of conservation!
Did you know that DCCL is the SECOND-OLDEST conservation group in Wisconsin?
DCCL's mission is the protection and propagation of fish and wildlife, both game and non-game species, and the promotion of public education and plans to restore and conserve Dane County's natural resources, and to increase opportunities for outdoor recreation.
Become a member and help support:
educational scholarships,
local DNR wildlife habitat projects,
the purchase of trout stream bank easements,
prairie chicken recovery efforts,
the raising of pheasants,
the construction of Blue Bird, Wren, Wood Duck, and Bat Houses, and
much more!
Membership meetings are January (Annual Meeting), February, March, and September, October, on the fourth Tuesday at 7:00 pm featuring guest speakers on farm issues and conservation efforts. Everyone is welcome!
The board has voted on a new membership flyer. See below. A new important addition is we have formed a YOUTH membership for 17 year old and under. The first year is FREE! Help us get more youth involved. This is a great opportunity for you to share your conservation passion with family, friends, and neighbors.
